About Us

The Cherub Company London has been a creative and pioneering force in British Theatre since 1978, presenting productions of classics and stage adaptations of non-dramatic texts. It is renowned for its unorthodox approach to text and performance. Its work has been seen across the UK as well as in 12 countries on 3 continents, from Spain to Iraq.

Under the direction of Michael Gieleta, The Cherub continues to reflect the cultural diversity within the contemporary British theatre. It takes interest in works originating outside the U.K. and its productions and creative teams include collaborators from a varied cultural international background.
